Last weekend, we went pool shopping and ended up getting a 5 foot pool with a slide from Walmart. We had this same pool last year, but it bit the dust. Sidney liked it last year, but this year, she really LOVES it. We fill it up, let it get nice and warm in this blazing 100 degree heat, and have a little pool party. We've got barbies, balls, little cars, plastic horses, and everything that will float in that little pool. We put Junior in it, but he just jumped out as soon as the opportunity arose. He truly looks like a giant rat when he is all wet. I got in it and put Garrett in his little swim diaper and suit, and he splashed around for awhile. Garrett LOVES splashing. He kicks like mad, and he will bang on the water like it is a drum. I will definitely get a picture of this and post it for you all to see.
The dog days of summer have arrived in TX in a blazing glory. Progress with my dining room decorating is coming along very slowly.
Gas is now up to 4.00 a gallon here for the crappy gas. The premium was 4.38, I think. Thank goodness I work from home 3 days per week.
