Every Day Counts

I got these super duper vitamins through the mail the other day, that are supposed to give me more energy, and increase my sense of well being (legally). I noticed that the label had a really had a catchy phrase that got my attention. The vitamins were called "Serenity", and the caption said "Because Each Day Matters." I stood there for a second because I had to think whether each day really mattered or not. Do some days matter more than others, like Graduation, Prom, Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays?

I have concluded that, unless you are dying, some days matter more than others. Take for instance, Monday through Friday. We really have this routine going; work 8 hours, lunch, workout, get kids, play with kids, cook dinners, bath, books, and night. Those days are not really worth a lot to me because it is so rush rush. But Friday nights, Saturday and Sunday count more than weekdays because we are doing activities together that are designed to foster closeness (i.e., the park, playgrounds, playdates, and church). I just had to share that information. When you do the same stuff day in and day out, those days just kind of melt together.

Garrett is all better, but Sidney caught his treacherous, retching, smoker like cough, and she is home today. She loves being at home. The kid can seriously watch some cartoons now!!!!!!!! Both my kids are getting so smart. They are some day going to have a show "Are you smarter than a kindergartner?"

Work is very busy. Life is very busy. Must remember to drink 64 ounces of water a day!!! I have got a new show that I love to watch now. It is on Showtime, and it is called the "Tudors". It is all about King Henry VIII of England. This show totally blows Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Fringe, House, and The Ghost Whisperer out of the water. Best show I have EVER seen. Plus, you learn a lot of history, to boot!!! Jonathan Rhys Meyers totally outshines Hugh Jackman any day of the week.
