Sorry it has been soooo long!

I can't believe it has been 4 months since my last post. I am so sorry that it has taken that long to catch up. Basically, since Sidney started Kindergarten, in August, it is the world broke loose, and pretty soon, all my spare blogging time is sucked up by homework, practices, work - that I get paid to do, and Daisy meetings (precursor to Brownies). But where do I start! Here are some pictures from Sidney's first day of school. I was so scared in the beginning, as the teachers wanted us to walk them up to the school, but the kids had to find their way to their classroom in that big bad scary building full of mean 5th grader boys. But we practiced for a week, and she was able to do it. Now I just drop her off at the curb, and she walks in by herself. I still watch her, and clog up the whole carpool lane until she gets in the building, but hey, that is what being an overprotective parent is all about. She also had to memorize this 6 digit code, or else she would not have been able to eat. I wrote it on her hand the first two weeks, but then after that, she has done great. Now really, I think that is a wee bit much for a new kindergartener, but she apparently likes to eat. I also bought her a Barbie lunch tote, with a cool Barbie thermos, and that seems to be a hit amongst her new little friends. The teacher caught them all trading lip gloss and Hello Kitty makeup at their lockers! I would see makeup that I KNOW was not ours in her backpack, and she would say that she FOUND it. I love her Teacher, and just love her new school (Hedgcoxe Elementary). Garrett also started a new daycare, that is much closer to my home, and Sidney goes there 3 days a week for after school. We love that school as well.

Sidney got asked to join this Girl Scout Troop and they were looking for an assistant troop leader, so, like an idiot, I volunteered. Now I have 5 meetings under my belt, and we are soon getting ready to sell cookies in February. So PLEASE buy from us. Shipping will be free!!! I can't find a good picture of her troop but they are all from Hedgcoxe elementary, and they all have become great friends. It is so much fun to teach them things, and do crafts with them. On Friday we all went to see Santa and his reindeer (real live ones), in Allen, and eat frozen yogurt at this awesome place called "Yogalicious". They have about 10 flavors all built into the wall, and it is self serve. You can try as many samples as you like, and they have lots of toppings. It is like a Ponderosa, but full of frozen yogurt and toppings. The real reindeer were very impressive.

Halloween just flew by. Sidney was a Bride, and Garrett was Elmo. We went to our Church for "Trunk or Treat" and it was a HUGE hit. There were at least 200 cars there. My friend at work was there, and she got to give my kiddos candy. It was a lot of fun. Also, at Garrett's new school, he was a bee. It is Sidney's old costume from when she was 2. At some point, I will have to post them side by side. It is way too cute.

I decided to take Sidney out of Gymnastics and put her in cheerleading/tumbling and she is doing well. We have have 4 competitions, and she has won 2 trophies, a very nice jacket, and a patch, which Rocco found and chewed to shreds. We have small breather, which I am so grateful for.

Thanksgiving flew by, and now we are here at Xmas. I did all my xmas shopping today, and have a whole lot of things to wrap as soon as I finish typing. I am soo ready for a vacation and a break. Work has been beyond hectic (miss you Kelli Trent, if you are reading this) and am looking forward to seeing my mom/dad/sister/nieces/nephews/aunts/uncles/cousins. Love you all.

BTY, here are some pictures of our puppy, Rocco!
