Daisy Bridging Ceremony - June 3rd

Where has the time gone. I will try my hardest to get caught up with the event of this year. One of the more memorable events that sticks out at me is our Daisy Bridging Ceremony. This is where they become fully fledged Brownies. They have gotten their petals. They have grown as girls. When Beth and I first started, these girls ran around like a bunch of ya-hoos, and we had to bribe them to be quiet and to sit down. Now after the completion of first grade, they listen, they are quiet, unless Daisies is over, that is, and they really seem to enjoy it.

I must admit that I think I have enjoyed it just as much as the girls. It has been so much fun getting to know them, see them in the halls and have them say "Hi Mrs. Rose" to me. It has been fun getting to know all the moms too. We have Mom's Night Out, and have gotten quite close. I agreed to be an assistant troop leader next year, along with Beth, and Diane, so these next two years should really be rockin'!! I must admit that I never bought, nor eaten so many girl scout cookies, since Sidney joined Daisies. So glad cookie season is OVER!

Here are some pics at Hoblitzelle Park. They walked over a bridge (bridging ceremony, get it),and they got their new brown vests. We had pizza, brownies, and the girls did a pinata. I LUV these girls!
