First post of the year!

I know. It has been over a month. I kep thinking that I need to get some cute pic out of my phone and display it. Well, that is taking forever, so I am going to make a new post without a pic for now.

For the new year, I have some pretty lofty goals.

Goal 1:
Be a better Christian. I am a Christian, but as of late, I feel that I have kind of fallen off of the path with my walk with God. I have been avoiding Church, and swearing a little more than I should be. I am also less patient with my kids these days. I need to slow down, and get my life in order again. God does not bless a mess.

Goal 2:
In order to keep up with my peers from Ball State University, I need to get my game face on, and pick it up a notch. You see, I feel compelled to climb ever so higher the executive corporate ladder. So I need do some studying at work and see I can start climbing!

Three:
Become a real estate agent. This would be on the side, of course. I just love real estate. I know that no one is really buying houses right now, but it is something that I would just love to do, as a hobby. But it is a hobby that requires a lot of studying as well. I want to have access to all of the foreclosed properties as well, and someday start investing in some real estate. It is my goal this year to become a real estate agent

Four:
Run a marathon. This goal has been amended to run a mini-marathon (12 miles). I started running again this year, and I just don't think I can do a marathon. But it does do me good to run, and is the only thing that melts fat off of me.

Five:
Five is linked to one. I just need a little more patience. I will also read to them more, and work on letters and numbers with Sidney. I will also play more with my kids. I will put down the laundry and just go play with them.
