But the candy is here to stay. We had a great time this easter. We did an egg hunt at the First United Methodist Church on Spring Creek, went to a lakeside Easter service, and went over to Nicole's for Easter lunch/dinner. The lakeside service was so nice. It was at 8am. The birds were chirping, the wind was blowing ever so slightly, and it was nice to be outside. We took the kids on a one mile trail around the church that was very nice. They have these three crosses overlooking their pond, but it is hard to get close enough to get a good picture.
I think that aside from Christmas, Easter is my next favorite holiday. In addition to the religious reasons, it is just a really fun holiday. There is nothing exciting now, until we hit Halloween again. Here are my Easter pics. I got this new app for my iphone that takes photos in this old timey hipstamatic scene, that I really liked.
