Time

Wow. January has just flown by. And now February is close to the end. I must say that I have really been enjoying being an assistant troop leader to Sidney's Daisy Troop. That is what they call Girl Scouts, who are in Kindergarten. Sidney has really gotten to know her girls really well, and they are a lot of fun!
WE sold Girl Scout cookies, and I have a mountain of boxes on my computer desk. I can hardly work, which may not be such a bad thing!! This is hilarious, but I got an email from the Girl Scout Council saying the following:
Little Brownie Bakers, supplier of Girl Scout Cookies to Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas has notified the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas that some Lemon Chalet Crèmes cookies may have an “off taste and smell”.
If customers have purchased a package of Lemon Chalet Crèmes and the quality does not meet their expectations, they can visit any Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas’ Shop for an exchange or refund.

Now, I have purchased "said" cookies, and now I am going to be worrying whether they are OK to eat or not. I have never had a Lemon Chalet before. What if I think it is OK, but that is not actually what they taste like. Needless to say, I am having a little complex over this one.
Tonight, our neighbor invited us to an Allen American hockey game. He had a suite and invited us and a few other neighbors. It was fun. Allen American is pretty good. Plus much easier to get to than the Dallas Stars, and dirt cheap to see. We did NOT take the kids, but are planning to soon. It was our little date night.
We had a lot of snow two weeks ago, and made a snowman. We probably had 9 inches of snow. Here are some pics of the snowman and the kids playing in the snow.

Sidney is coming along quite well with her reading, and Garrett is forming actual sentences instead of 2 words. His favorite phrases:
I want peanut butter.
Let me think about that.
I want juice
Give me that.
Most of his sentences consist of him wanting something.
