Thus far, up until I enrolled Sidney in the private kindergarten, this January, the education from my daycare has not thrilled me. I mean, I pay them a whopping amount every year, and the people that they hire, look like they just walked off the street, save Sidney's kindergarten teacher, who has a degree. So, now that Garrett is 16 months, in the fall, I am thinking of enrolling him in a different school. Sidney will be off to Kindergarten, and I think I need a change of pace. So I have been checking out other school and montessories in the area. I am leaning heavily for montessori school, only because he really likes to figure things out, and there is lots of stuff for him to figure out in a montessori. The other school is called Plano Day school, and while I loved the school, I could tell in an instant that I was NOT going to like the director. So, I am looking at a better education for my little guy! The Plano school district is really good, so I know that Sidney is going to be getting a great education.
Garrett got bit by quite a few fireants the other day. The kids were eating cheetos in the yard. They dropped a few. About 20o minutes later, Garrett spotted it, and picked it up. I heard that distinct Help Me cry, and ran over, and his hand was COVERED in fireants. He has a lot of bites, but we washed it rather quickly, put cortisone cream on it, and it is much better now. Fireants are RAMPANT in TX.
I am needing endoscopic sinus surgery, and had scheduled it, but surgeon, hospital and anethesiologist all demand payment up front, and my insurance is crappy. I may have to rethink this, and postpone it.
